A lot of people like to say that the older you get, the more you realize that everyone else doesn't really know what they're doing. I would add to that, and say that most of us don't truly understand what it is that we actually want. There are a lot of us walking around with goals that we only have because we think we should, or because somebody told us that we should, and there are plenty more that don't have any goals at all. It boggles the mind to think about it too deeply, but in a way, it's also freeing. It can encourage us to stop worrying about our neuroses for a moment and appreciate the simpler, sweeter parts of life that aren't so focused on our deepest desires. Although looking at memes can definitely fall under the category of our wants and needs, there is no pressure here.
